So I read just about every review I could of this place and it seemed like people were talking about two different hotels. Some people mention all kinds of horror stories about their stay while others had totally pleasant visits. I wasn't sure what to expect! I had a great stay! I was visiting Munich to enjoy several days of hiking throughout Bavaria, so I just needed a safe, clean place to sleep & shower near the train station that wasn't too expensive. This was perfect for me! I really couldn't have been happier with my stay as it perfectly met my needs. And it had an in-room A/C unit, which I didn't expect at all but definitely welcomed! Great value for this traveler. The street noise wasn't bad, the neighborhood seemed fine (I wouldn't want to go much further south - it gets pretty active and wild at night 1-2 blocks further), and the bed was clean and comfortable. It's not a luxurious 4-star stay, but that's not what I wanted and out of my price range. For my budget this was ideal.

We were a family of 3 staying in Munich for 5 days. The hotel is across the street from the main station, which was perfect when we had suitcases to drag. Munich is a very walkable city and this is helped when you're central to it. Many of the popular sites are within about 15 mins walk but you can get to pretty much everything inside 30 mins. The staff were really friendly, spoke great English (if you're not confident in your German) and very helpful. The breakfast was a completely satisfactory continental breakfast. Mainly croissants, variety of cereal, bread, cold meats and cheese, yoghurt, juices etc. There was warm option of scrambled eggs (with or without ham). Our family room was very big. Usually when we travel we end up with a double bed and a sofa bed. Here was different as there was an actual bed for our child (16 yrs old). The room was big, plenty of room, clean.

Location, location , location. Other than being in the old town (which would be very expensice) the area near the train station is close to most attractions and a major transport hub. Room was small but clean, if it were summer then a fridge/mini bar would be ideal but no problem. Staff was friendly and helpfull and had no problem with english. Did not take breakfast as there are many food shops and supermarkets near there and in the train/U station. A perfect 10 for value for money.

Room and Bathroom was spacious. Location is excellent. The staff are excellent. The senior citizen lady at the reception in morning shift is very friendly. She deserve extra bonus. The gentlemen in the evening shift is also very helpful. He also deserves extra bonus. The lady in the kitchen during the breakfast time today, she is very understanding. She deserves extra bonus.

A very comfortable hotel near the railway station. I was lucky, my windows overlooked the courtyard, and it was quiet, so if the windows are on the street, then there is construction on the street and it can interfere with recreation. Kettle in the room. The room, the bath is very clean. Grocery stores nearby and a pharmacy. Attractions can be reached in 15 minutes by foot.
